Pretty good
This game is not without its flaws but it is also not as bad as everyone is making out to be. It's fun, short, and worth it for sale price.
I did find the main menu navigation a bit confusing as I'm only interested in the campaign, there's a lot going on. I would recommend if you like Marvel stuff. I enjoyed the design for MODOK.
The Pros
graphics
story
visuals
MODOK design
The Cons
buggy
repetitive
too many robots
missions all feel the same

Wait for a sale
Marvel's Avengers is only good depending on what you want from it; a coop online loot-tastic game? Take a pass, this is a grind fest with ridiculous rewards and zero motivation to carry on. Want it for a single player story game? Definitely! The campaign was good, as I only wanted it for a quick MCU experience.
I would recommend if only you are wanting a single player game which involves superheroes, stay clear of the multiplayer aspect.
The Pros
Graphics
Story
Characters
The Cons
Grindfest
Online coop
Greedy dev/publishers
