I enjoyed the game both in terms of the story and the side activities, where the game time sometimes felt stretched, but it wasn't that bad and I did almost everything and successfully completed it. And I'm satisfied with the 111 hours I spent there.

I absolutely love the Hogwarts Universe and was so excited when this game was announced! I love the fantasy open-world aspect and the available customizations for character development and special spaces. As someone who also adores survival crafting, I enjoy the process of having to make our own ingredients, potions, and survive battle. I look forward to what changes may come and hope to be able to play alongside friends soon.

Hogwarts Legacy is just an amazing game, i could see myself having loads of fun even if i wasnt a harry potter fan. I can tell I will easily be at 100+ hours on one playthrough. And i just might eventually have a total of 4 playthroughs to see all different houses and gameplay first hand. And with each playthrough ill play a different style and choose different options in conversations.

Fun open world game, puts you in the shoes of a witch or wizard however not much in the way of actual schooling more action orientated cant be a plus to some but id expected more class work

I loved exploring the open world and fighting different enemies without being forced to complete every single mission before i can explore.

I found this game very enjoyable

This game exceeded my expectations. From what I was hearing from everybody else I thought it was an empty rpg, very glitchy but good landscape. The game is not at all empty, there are a large variety of side quests to do with an amazing story line. The combat is annoying at first but you get used to it after gathering spells and memorising the patterns. The enemies are largely diverse and enjoyable to take down. Character aesthetics are brilliant and the map is huge, as a harry potter fan who has seen the movies they make the already large castle way bigger than I could ever imagine, but the map I couldn't imagine being so big. Transport isn;'t an issue as you have brooms, mounts and teleport. The mounts look great but brooms are alot more convenient.

As for people trying to 100% it it can get super boring. You eventually will get used to the whole map and going back over to certain places to collect or find certain things can get annoying. Then you need to create 3 other characters under different houses to get their exclusive achievements. You get the achievements around 2-3 hours of game play which is just super boring. Yeah you get to experience one unique quest each time but it's not worth it.

Overall get the game on a discount and it will give you a bunch of hours to burn where you will love it, not enough to do a replay probably but for a play through its a must for all harry potter fans especially that the events in this game are considered cannon.

note i had two crashes with my 90 hours of playtime that set me back a total of 5m, so not too bad! also it does take a second to load in but it's all worth it.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but I can see that this game is made with a lot of love from the fans for the fans!

I’m not the biggest fan of Harry Potter etc. but my partner is so we decided to buy Hogwarts legacy. The graphics are fantastic even for what is now considered a ‘last gen console’ and it runs well, I have had one error closure but no other issues in the 40+ hours I’ve already sank into this game. I think that speaks for itself really, a non-fan spending so much time on a game really does sell itself in a way. Of course it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, however, if you’re able to I’d definitely recommend trying it out.

I am not, nor have I ever been, much of a Harry Potter fan so I was rather skeptical going into the game.

As soon as I started to play the game I was hooked.

The storyline is good to follow, however completing missions can be repetitive. Sometimes it can feel like the progress is slow, but it is engaging for the most part.

The visuals are stunning and I happily spent much of my time playing looking at the scenery. Although, even on the XBOX Series X, there seemed to be a bit of stuttering on the higher graphical preset.

As a long time Harry Potter fan this was everything I ever wanted in a game!

Completed the Story Last Night of this Game and it's a really good open world game with lots of exploration, side quests, relationship quests and a interesting story arch as I've been playing games from the Wizarding World for years but this game is extremely demanding on my PC as the rendering is so bad while exploring the world map and over Hogsmeade and exploring Hogwarts it gets glitchy and buggy that I have to cap the game at 60fps which the developers should've spent more time in fixing this issue before the game came out.

I'd only recommend this game to you all if it's lower than £35.99 because it is extremely demanding on any PC.

Developers really need to spend more time on their games fixing rendering issues before the release date in my opinion this game should've been delayed more longer.

If you love Harry Potter you will love this game. I don't normally enjoy single player games but this is different, the visuals and the combat are so exciting to watch and enjoy, different combos you can do with spells it all really makes the game fun to play on your own. The game is brilliant. The gameplay is fun but there's a huge problem. I have 16 gb ram, which is a lot but the game using 99% of my ram, this make a lot of problems in this game and lags. I reccomend you buy this game only if you have 32gb of ram.

I was rather skeptic at first to order off of CDKeys as the deal seemed too good to be true, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and speed at which I got the code for the game. I popped it into Steam and the game worked as expected and I will most likely order from CDKeys again.

To anyone who fell in love with the Harry Potter lore, this will be an amazing adventure and I can highly recommend it.
You get to do almost everything you can think of here and though the main story is kinda forgettable, the scope of the world and the sheer number of activities you get to engage in more than makes up for the narrative failings.
Though stunning and mechanically smooth, once I got to a point where I could easily complete any challenge, I got bored.
This game is well worth the reduced price offered here, so I would strongly advise getting it a low price.

Best single player game I have played since Red Dead Redemption 2. I have put over 20 hours into the game so far and haven't been able to put it down! I feel like every time I play they give you more options for things to do.

Wow wow wow… firstly the graphics! I’m mean totally stunning, very realistic. They said when making this open world if you can see you can go to it. So far that’s so true!! Controls are not too difficult the story is great with cool side quests it’s an amazing game go buy it if you haven’t already you won’t be disappointed. I gave 100 rating and if I could give 99 it would be that and this is totally my thing so I’m being completely anal… I wish that when you reached a floo flame it should bring up a list of places you can travel to from that point. It’s bit annoying having to open maps every time you want to fast travel! Other than that this game is PERFECT!

Immersive, Huge, Open World with stunning visuals and so many sub quests to get lost in before you even start on the majority of the main story. This is a must buy, even if you're not a Harry Potter fan.

As someone who grew up with the Hogwarts universe I couldn't wait to play this game and the devs have done a lot of work to distance themselves from JKR which I respect greatly.

The world they have created is beautiful and full of life, with so many different things to explore and experience. If you are a fan of Harry Potter or just love RPG's as a whole then this game surely has something for you. From exploring the amazingly designed school to the surrounding areas it has so much to offer. They've done an amazing job to make it really feel like the Hogwarts that I grew up loving.

On steam and other places the price for this deluxe edition of the game is a lot more expensive than it is here.
The game is really enjoyable, but it does take a little while to get used to on your pc controller, but it takes nothing away from the game.
This game has a huge amount of content. You can level up, in anyway that you wish, there are no general restrictions. The graphics look beautiful especially with all settings set to ultra on the pc. Most characters have a voice actor behind them.
The game is completely voiced acted as you play through your story. Talking about your story, there are various ways to play the game, from story mode with little interaction (you still have to kill mobs etc) to the highest difficulty settings. I recommend this game to any potter fan. It feels like your taking part in a motion picture!

Bought the code the 7th and got the code same day. Love the game and the additional package it originally came with. This is best experienced game. I played it on my series x and had no problems with installation nor playing it.

The Potter game i've always wanted!
Runs quite well even if i only have minimum system requirements.

I was really worried I wouldn't love this game as some of the reviews implied because I wasn't a humongous Harry Potter fan (or Fantanstic Beasts/Other JK Rowling works).

But that was mislaid, this game is AMAZING for any gamer! I'm not a huge open world RPG fan, only really playing the big ones (like Fallout 3, Skyrim and Witcher 3). But this gives me just as much openworld RPG as I want without me feeling overwhelmed.

The storyline is actually really interesting, which is rare. I'd say I'm about <1/3 of the way through judging by playtime and what I know of the plot. But part of that is because I keep getting distracted by random side quests and just playing around in the world.

The graphics are great, the game runs suprisingly well on my rather old PC (Ryzen 5 2600, AMD XT 5500 and a SATA3 SSD) managing 30-60fps at 1080p despite not really meeting the recommended specs!

Some people complained that leaving Hogwarts leads to small loading delay, that's true but I wouldn't even have noticed it if it wasn't for the videos. Then again I grew up playing the PS1 and Gamecube :)

Voice acting is good, audio can be a bit wonky sometimes.

Just received the key (6/2/2023), even though i was expecting it tommorow. The game came with the pre-order bonus (onyx hippogriff mount). Initially i wasnt sure if it will come with the pre-order bonus, since it wasnt saying so in this webpage originally. So i am a very satisfied customer. I can't start downloading yet on steam but it is in my library and i am just waiting for the early-access on steam :)

Thought I would share, those that have purchased the (Preorder) Deluxe edition and want to confirm on Steam that they have recieved the correct version - but cannot access the game since it hasnt released on PC yet (Current time of this post: GMT 17:00 6th Feb). Click on your username (top right corner) on Steam. Click "Account details" from the drop-down menu, and then "Licences and product key activations". This will let you know if your code is actually the Digital Deluxe version or not. Also you get the Onyx Mount too. Well I did!

Although i have purchased the delux edition, in my steam library it is not showing that I have the deluxe edition just the standard one.

10/10 Game, don't even need to wait till it comes out, can't wait to hit a Avada Kedavra.

Jk Rowling is super talented with the making of the world of wizards and this brings me back to my childhood with my grandma and family so I am excited to see this game in action

Cant wait for the drop.. If it has on the site description that you can play 72 hours early aka 7th does that mean the key will drop on the 7th @ 00:00/12:00am taking region into account.

If the Key doesn't drop after the clock hits 12:01am on the 7th I will be very disappointed as 72hours before official release is advertised in the description and I will be looking to get the code as soon as clock resets.
