Sea of Thieves offers the essential pirate experience, from sailing and fighting to exploring and looting – everything you need to live the pirate life and become a legend in your own right. With no set roles, you have complete freedom to approach the world, and other players, however you choose. Whether you’re voyaging as a group or sailing solo, you’re bound to encounter other crews in this shared world adventure – but will they be friends or foes, and how will you respond?

Explore a vast open world filled with unspoiled islands, sunken ships and mysterious artefacts. Take on quests to hunt for lost treasure, seek out cursed Skeleton Captains or gather valuable cargo for the Trading Companies. Go hunting and fishing or choose from hundreds of optional goals and side-quests.

Play the Tall Tales to experience Sea of Thieves’ unique narrative-driven campaigns, and join forces with Captain Jack Sparrow in the newest original story that brings Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean sailing into Sea of Thieves. These immersive and cinematic quests provide around 30 hours of the ultimate pirate adventure.

Best Pirate Game
Although it is the best pirate game, it is hard to find other players to due to large map. Missions can become repetitive aswell. Other than that, it is one of the most fun games to play with friends, especially the tall tales.

Love the Game
I have really enjoyed playing this game with friends. Having a blast shooting ships until the wee hours of the morning .

Great Game and very enjoyable with friends. But it tends to become repetitive. Therefore, there is a point where it becomes less demanding to boring

Not for everyone
The game is beautiful, and can be fun with friends, but again what is not fun with friends. Apart from that though, it's a bit boring. Playing with randoms is NOT FUN 99% of the time. Since my time is limited then, I have no reason to waste one our of non fun gameplay with some random people that seem to be going through stuff in their life.

Missions are generally bad and boring, roaming the high seas and tricking/fighting other crews is all this game is about. It's fun when it works, but it rarely works.

Best pirate game around
Completing tall tales and creating your own adventure "commendation" hunting is extremely rewarding and even the sailing experience itself is good.
