New quests, monsters, weapons, armor, and story await to take your hunting to the next level!
All-new Hunting Mechanics - All 14 weapon types have new moves and combos. Each weapon has more unique actions than ever before. Every weapon now lets you use the clutch claw, a new function of the slinger, to grapple onto monsters. You'll drain your stamina while clinging onto monsters, but it opens up various new ways of controlling their movement!
New Quest Difficulty: Master Rank! - On top of low rank and high rank, there is now a new quest difficulty called "master rank." Master rank quests will become available once you purchase the Iceborne expansion. You'll be able to earn new materials and fight even stronger monsters on these quests!
New Locale: Hoarfrost Reach - An unknown environment, yet to be discovered by mankind. Hoarfrost Reach has plenty of unique endemic life and monsters that could only exist in such a harsh climate. It has diverse geographical features as well, from deep stretches of snow that impede your movement to relaxing hot springs, and even unstable ground that could collapse at any moment! The visual effects are some of the most detailed the Monster Hunter series has ever seen!
Various New Monsters! - Hoarfrost Reach is home to many new endemic creatures and monsters, such as the snow-swimming Beotodus, the raging Banbaro, and the mysterious elder dragon Velkhana.
But changes are afoot in familiar locales as well! Keep an eye out for new tracks of fan favorite monsters, such as Tigrex and Nargacuga!
As the title states, game is a ton of fun if you play in a group or with at least another person.
It does get rather "slow" in the endgame were most of your contracts and missions consistent of chasing animals around for a ridiculous amount of time (since they have an absurd amount of hp at that point), they keep running away from you time after time after you get a few hits in, but up till that point the game is a ton of fun especially the DLC and if you play with friends.

Great Title
If you ever want to get into monster hunter this title is the best course of action. Has some weird online bugs but other than that the game is great! People still play to this day so whether solo or not you may get some random hunters joining or doing other quests.

Really cool game that I slept on for years before finally coming around and seeing what all the commotion was about. On the off-chance you are looking for a legitimate review on this corner of the net, let me say that if you like dark souls/elden ring or if you like to play skyrim modded into a third person action game, you will really like MH: World. I highly recommend checking it out, and the price here for the master edition is better than the lowest recorded sale price on Steam so far. And yes, the code they sent worked just fine.

An amazing game but...
Played mainly on Xbox and I've over 400+ hours (not as much as some people but still resonable). Recently got a pretty good PC and ive always wanted to use mods so I decided to buy it for PC. I've had a love hate realationship with this game because of some monsters mechanics and playing the game solo it especially difficult at endgame. But the character customisation, armour and the story make this game one of my favourites of all time (to an extent).

Monster hunter world already was a pretty good game seeing as how it brought monster hunter to the mainstream and allowing you to play with friends more easily due to being on the PC, the dlc addes so much more to the experience:
More zones, more monsters and new variations of existing ones (like the coral pukey pukey) adds a lot more endgame and they even still add new monsters for high level players now and then.
Overall, If you liked mhw you're definitely going to love this and if you've yet to try the original game then this one isn't too pricey by now so you might as well try it.

I have seen many controversial reviews of the game, well for me the game is simply awesome, some ppl dont like the fact that takes to long to slay the monsters, i mean... depends how week you are, the stronger you get the faster it is, if you like adventure and you are patient and like to fight big monster well this is your game, its not just about slay monsters but exploration as well, so you got like both or you may feel lost in the game.

A Fun Challenge
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expands the base game with a new gathering hub and new expedition location, as well as many more monsters to hunt. The story is negligible but the new monsters are fun to fight against as they have new attacks to watch out for. The base game monsters get new attacks as well if fighting their master counterparts, as well as new carving/capture rewards for new master rank weapons and armor.
