ABOUT THE GAME

Rediscover the legendary expansion and journey to the icy reaches of Northrend. There, Arthas the Lich King rules the land from atop his Frozen Throne and seeks to scour all life from Azeroth with the help of his evil undead forces.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic requires only a WoW subscription or game time to play. However, these optional upgrades offer a trove of rare items to aid you in your coming journey.

The Northrend Epic Upgrade includes everything in the Northrend Heroic Upgrade plus 30 days of game time, the Kalu’ak Whalebone Glider flying mount for your Wrath of the Lich King Classic characters, and a Tuskarr Shoreglider flying mount for your non-Classic characters. After purchase, the Wrath of the Lich King Classic items from Heroic and Epic Upgrades can be redeemed by completing a very short quest from Innkeepers in any capital city, as well as Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.
