While this game is not nearly as popular as Rome 2 was, it is in my unbiased opinion better than Rome 2 was. While they both do suffer from similar issues as they are both using the same Game Engine, Attila is using a newer version and thus is much less buggy when it comes to Seige AI. It also happens to have better campaign mechanics than Rome 2 did when it comes to Governors and edicts, it slightly changed them but made them actually useful and more varied instead. They also brought back the family tree for those who are interested in trying to create a single royal blood line and adds more flavor to your campaign.
At this asking price it's well worth the money and a step above Rome 2, which is a good game in itself but is more expensive!
