About Yakuza: Like a Dragon Day Ichi Edition
RISE LIKE A DRAGON: Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking grunt of a low-ranking yakuza family in Tokyo, faces an 18-year prison sentence after taking the fall for a crime he didn't commit. Never losing faith, he loyally serves his time and returns to society to discover that no one was waiting for him on the outside, and his clan has been destroyed by the man he respected most. Ichiban sets out to discover the truth behind his family's betrayal and take his life back, drawing a ragtag group of society’s outcasts to his side: Adachi, a rogue cop, Nanba, a homeless ex-nurse, and Saeko, a hostess on a mission. Together, they are drawn into a conflict brewing beneath the surface in Yokohama and must rise to become the heroes they never expected to be.
ENTER THE UNDERWORLD PLAYGROUND: When you're not busy bashing heads, relax by hitting up the local arcade for some classic SEGA games, compete with locals in a no holds barred go-kart race around Yokohama, complete 50 unique substories, or just take in the scenery of a modern-day Japanese city. There’s always something new around the corner.
The Legends Costume Set featuring eight costumes representing fan-favorite figures from the Yakuza series, from Kazuma Kiryu to Daigo Dojima.
In my top 3 yakuza games, only downside is the need to grind before one major fight. Great cast of characters, Ichiban being less stoic than Kiryu is a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to see more of them both. Storyline is emotional with plenty of wackiness. If you've played a Yakuza game you know what to expect from the story and side content. Traditional turn based JRPG combat is a big difference but they made it work and it's a JRPG I actually managed to finish which is pretty unusual for me.

Like a Dragon
This game, hands down, is one of the most enjoyable turn-based JRPG games of all time.
Being set in Japan, the locations look fantastic with the peculiar twist of Japanese oddities.
The characters are fully fleshed out, adding a boat load of charisma to the game.
The Pros
Job System.
Story.
Characters.
Turn-based combat.
End game content.
