Valiant Hearts focuses more on the fragmentation of the human soul, on how two strangers protect each other and on how "madness" thrives more than violence. It is a small keyhole in the hearts of people during the First World War, in their attempt to survive and protect their families. Challenge and competition may be low, but the narrative value of the story is invaluable. It is therefore a title based on the human experiences of war and not on the war itself and the reproduction of the violence it contained. What is certain is that it is a beautiful, hard, moving and painful experience worth living.
