Very boring game, Story is as they all are, someone betrays the Empire, they join the rebels, blar blar. Same cookie cutter story writing from the last EA STARWARS game. The story consists of very limited and unrealistic flights involving dog fights (I'm talking about flying directly into a cruiser and just, bouncing off...) Multiplayer is non-existent, it took me 20 minutes to find a game, to then be matched with level 100's who decimate everyone. Player base is dead in the UK & US anyway. Also, as this is an EA game, they push their microtransactions everywhere. Why people pay £5.99 for a bobble head in game, I'll never know. Only redeeming feature is the graphics, it's a very pretty game & for that they get a pat on the back. I wouldn't purchase this for anything above what I paid for it: £0.59p because, frankly, that's all it deserves.

Great game, great price. The story cutscenes are very well done and the gameplay is excellent. Not overly long, but still lots to do. Multiplayer is not my thing though.

Worth getting for £15 or so, is a good star wars starfighter simulator, with a good mix of game modes with both competitive and casual play.

Loving it so far
Have only played single player so far (think I'm very close to the end of the campaign) and with a HOTAS it's great fun and fulfils the dream of piloting various ships from the Star Wars universe. Still to try VR which I've no doubt will add even more enjoyment to the experience.

This game is pretty fun but the mid-mission cutscenes are a bit clunky. I would rather they drop the conversational aspect between NPC and just incorporate that into the breifing or something or into a pre/post mission scene or whatever. Gameplay is pretty fun and is modern but still feels really classic in a way. I would rate a bit higher than 75 but def not 100.

Nostalgia brought up to date
I grew up playing the original star wars flight games and this feels like home. The visuals are amazing and it's even better in vr, but the contros are perfect and just like riding a bike. First mission I was flying my time fighter like I was born in it.
