The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?
Continue Cal’s journey. No longer a Padawan, Cal has come into his own and grown into a powerful Jedi Knight. Carrying the memories and expectations of the Jedi Order with him, his crusade against the Empire has only become more perilous. The Dark Times are closing in, and with enemies new and familiar surrounding him, Cal will need to decide how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him.
Go beyond your training. The cinematic combat system returns with additional Force abilities and new lightsaber fighting styles. Even though I really liked the first game I was a bit scared about how it would run on my PC after seeing the SkillUp and DigitalFoundry reviews, but also heard that the day 1 patch actually fixed most of the biggest problems so I decided to give it a go. I've played it for about 3 hours so far and on my ancient 1080 TI (best card ever, continues to refuse giving up) and I was VERY impressed. I'm running it at 2560 x 1440 (QHD), most seetings on high expect for shadows on medium and it runs really smooth! Can't say it's a constant 60 FPS but it hangs close to that very well. Also very little shader compilation stutters (they are super minimal, not as bad as Elden Ring's).
The game itself so far seems like a huge improvement, movement feels more fluid and rensponsive, you start with all of the abilities from the first game and and combat remains fun and makes you feel like a killing machine.
I'm REALLY digging this so far. After Mandalorian seasson 3 I needed a Star Wars palate cleansers and so far it's great.

The environments are some of the best I've seen. The production quality is mind blowing.

I have a 1080 TI, and it runs and looks next gen, I have no complaints.

Another broken PC port
Again, a flawless service from CD Keys for yet another shambolic release. Sadly the game isn't anywhere near finished and is plagued with performance issue taxing even the best hardware available. This seems to be a trend these days of release a broken product, consumer gets irate, release corporate non apology, fix it later if at all, rinse and repeat.
Its a shame because what I got to play was great and improves on Fallen Order but my playtime was cut short due to too many issues from terrible performance on great hardware to far too many random crashes.

Follows greatly on from Cals first outing.
Improved combat and Jedi skills.
Excellent voice acting.

Broken and unplayable in its current state.
