Team up with up to four friends and wreak havoc on the alien scourge that threatens the safety of your home, Super Earth.
The Helldivers must take on the role of galactic peacekeepers in this Galactic War and protect their home planet, spread the message of Democracy, and liberate the hostiles by force.

OVERPOWERED WEAPONS & OVERWHELMING FOES
We don’t send our Helldivers planet side without proper back up, but it’s up to you to decide how and when to call it in. Not only will you have a host of superpowered primary weapons and customizable loadouts, you also have the ability to call on stratagems during play.In the heat of the battle and your squad needs to take out a massive onslaught of Terminids in one go? You can have an Eagle drop a 500KG bomb, leaving behind only liberated bug corpses. Need to lay down a defensive perimeter? You can call for the Anti-Personnel Mine Deployer to layer the battlefield with deadly mines.
Players can decide how to take down each enemy surge using a multitude of offensive and defensive tools. As you complete missions, you’ll be able to upgrade your ship and build an even more impressive arsenal. Everything from shield generators to turrets to large-scale airstrikes can be used to give your team the upper-hand.

True to our co-op roots at Arrowhead, we’ve made sure HELLDIVERS™ 2 has our best cooperative gameplay yet. Value for money
If you like shoot em up games like call of duty CSGO and exploring games like crackdown payday things like these when you would like this game. I have a value rating if a game is worth can be split over hours played and it comes out at £1 an hour its worth its price. Cause what can you do in life that's worth that? So far I have played this game for 148 hours. that works out as less than 17p an hour. This game is good value for money

Mostly enjoyable, would highly recommend.
I bought this game mainly because of the hype around it and to play with friends. I enjoy the aesthetics & graphics, the lore seems interesting based off what I've seen, the combat is fun and stressful (in a good way), and, with friends, it is really enjoyable.

Solid with friends
This game is a solid 9/10 when you run with friends. It does get very repetitive though on the higher difficulties especially pre-buffs though, so if any of your friends stop, your experience will immediately start to sour.
If you have a solid group I say go for it but wait until the devs cool off with the balancing patches, they tend to cause game breaking bugs/crashes when they do big updates since they really don't know what they're doing with a live game. It doesn't help that some devs went off and helped build a toxic group within the community that has only grown since the CEO publicly reprimanded them.

This is a breath of fresh air, shows the AAA developers how a fun game should be and that you don't need to spend millions to make a good game and taking a risk on a different IP can pay off. Developers are really active too which is great. all in all a great game. only reason not 100% is there are a few bugs but nothing game breaking.

Helldivers is a game for people who love their friends
Helldivers is a game that isn't for the feint of heart and is loved by their own friends. The game is fun and the experiences/funny moments you have with your friends is better. You can play solo for those who play solo BUT its just a bit harder.
(FYI you can use stealth its just a lot harder then you think.)

Always wanted to be a Starship Trooper
Fun game. Even if you don't have friends that play it, you can matchmake and join in on the fight. Right now, it's buggy and constant crashing. Once everything is patched this game is going to last you a while and hopefully with future support.

Just good old fashioned, coop, video game fun. Super funny. Great Gameplay. Worth it.

Great game with small bugs
Great game, performance is really good as well, it rarely gets bugged, so that's really good and the "battlepasses" are good as well since you play missions, earn medals and use those medals for items to unlock (guns, cosmetics and even super credits for premium skins, which aren't even that hard to get/expensive to get)

- gunplay/gameplay
- replayability
- fun with friends/other people (in-game voice chat and chat)

- sometimes infinite loading, for others just straight up crashing

Tons of Co-op Fun.
If you played the original Helldivers, you should like this one too(basically 3rd person shooter version of the 1st game).Game is just pure chaos and tons of fun.

- Fun gameplay loop. Good variety of weapons, enemies, missions, optional objectives and difficulty.
The Cons
- Some bugs and crashing errors(at time of review), but being addressed.
